Back-to-school time can create worry about finding good friends at school. And this year may be especially tough without close friends nearby as the school year starts. It’s a great time to talk with your children about friendship—not just on how to find a good friend but also about how to BE a good friend. (Anyone else thinking of this anonymous quote right now: “To have a good friend, be a good friend”? Yep, I thought so. It’s a great reminder and the surprise message of this video.)
Make the discussion extra fun by creating mini video clips using Apples to Apples cards. (We love the Disney version of Apples to Apples!) Find cards that help you describe what friendship means, how to be a good friend, or why a friend means so much to you!
